The Cult of the French pastry chef.

The BBC announces: “No French high street would be complete without a patisserie, and words such as “gateau”, “eclair” and “flan” indicate that French pastry chefs are esteemed as much abroad as at home. But in the last couple of years, patissiers have shot to stardom, joining the top ranks of France’s celebrity chefs.”

Of course, Purefrancenow has always promoted the best in French patisserie from the Rhone-Alpes region, particularly the very successful Maison Pralus in the heart of the Roannais region.

Pralus and the Salon du Chocolat are a resounding success in London. By Brian Franklin

SALON DU CHOCOLAT LAUNCHED ITS FIRST EVER LONDON EDITION AT OLYMPIA NATIONAL THIS OCTOBER.

A great show, and our famous Roannais chocolate company, Pralus, was there to ‘taste’ the success of this first major chocolate show in London.

Some of the UK’s best chocolate companies were also exhibiting alongside exciting international brands like Pralus.

The show also featured demonstrations, talks and hands-on workshops from the top chocolatiers.

The highlight of the show was London’s first ever Chocolate Fashion Show, featuring models walking the catwalk wearing couture outfits made entirely out of chocolate.

Amazing!

In the “Tasting Room”, visitors also discovered the universe of chocolate and all its subtleties through a series of presentations and tastings held by experts.

Salon du Chocolat has an enormous pedigree in the chocolate industry, hosting more than 23 chocolate shows around the world, with the biggest taking place in Paris, featuring 600 participants and attracting more than 135,000 visitors over five days.

François Pralus was there, of course, and Pure France Now managed to ‘meet and greet’ him in person.

Purefrancenow hope to be working together with this unique company in the future, and to present the amazing ‘Pralus Story’, and  its original, high quality chocolates on www.purefrancenow.com  where we already promote Pralus via our editorial and blogs, and have done for over 6 years now!

We aim to help spread the word and products of François Pralus further across the UK.

Our direct knowledge and ‘tasting’ experience of all their products is a distinct advantage, of course!
