LE PAL C’EST FANTASTIQUE!

Just couldn't resist highlighting this fantastic French zoo and amusement park near Dompierre sur Bresbre in the Auvergne/Allier region (only 1hr and 30mins North West of Lyon).

Over 500 different animals across 5 continents, the zoo specialises in conservation and education. All set in over 23 hectares of beautiful wooded park, and with many spectacular rides and attractions. Very safe and pleasurable. 

For a day-away visit with all the kids it is one of the best family outings you'll have.

Try and go mid-week while the local children are at school – you'll have the run of the place to yourself!

Loads to see and do – most of the normal zoo animals, lots of different rides, but mainly geared to young children up to 13+. Not big bad rides for the more daring teenager and young adults – just a very friendly family place. Easy going, with good restaurants, serving simple, but good food.

The afternoon sea lion show is a must!

The whole place is very clean and professionally run. They do a lot of school educational and community trips, too.

They are always adding new rides and features, continually upgrading.

Not expensive for a full days worth of fun!
